Legal Field Training Programmes:

Tiger Trust has been monitoring and pursuing numerous cases related to wildlife offences, particularly those related to the Tigers. Tiger trust has been involved in organizing legal field trainings for the forest  officials, guards and villagers all over India. The training have been imparted in Forest Academics Dehradun, Rajasthan, Chattisgarh,  Goa, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
Awareness & Educational Programmes in India and Abroad:

Awareness and education is the most appropriate way to sentisize people about wildlife conservation. Thus Tiger Trust is working with several schools, colleges and local villagers to create awareness about the conservation and protection of Wildlife. An education center has been started at Kailash Sankhala Conservation Centre at Kanha Tiger Reserve  to provide guidance and hope to  the children of underprivileged families. It helps to inculcate respect and responsibility towards the park.

TIGER TRUST – Strategies for Conservation Unfolded :

Tiger Trust is deeply involved in the world of conservation, enforcement, detection, investigation, and implementation of conservation laws in India and abroad by now introducing this legal training programme for the students studying in universities of USA having tiger as its mascot. The first programme would commence from 12.3.2010 to 20.3.2010 with the students of Clemson University at Bandhavgarh, Ranthambhore and Bharatpur. It would include presentations by these students, inter-active sessions, skits and painting competition with the local children on the subject of save the forest save the tiger. The winning team would be given an incentive to travel in India with the support of Tiger Trust and other universities. Tiger Trust goes to Dehradun by sending its faculty for the forthcoming training programmes on the subject of enforcement of legal programmes in other subjects.


Tiger Habitat Conservation:

Involves neighborhood communities living around tiger reserves and is of great importance. We have associated government agencies like Agganwadi (Women's` welfare department) and Baalwadi (Child Care Center) for awareness campaigns.

Wildlife Research Programmes:

Tiger trust is encouraging the research programme of flora and fauna by proposing tie up by universities in India & abroad for encouraging young students as strategy to improve the bio-diversity of in and around national parks.


Health Programmes:

Tiger Trust has conducted community health programmes for the villagers living around the periphery of the tiger reserves.

These health programmes are conducted by doctors who are specialists from various fields. They conduct preliminarily medical tests on the spot and also endeavour to educate the villagers on maintaining good health and hygiene


Cross- Cultural programmes:

Tiger Trust has been inviting students from Clemson University since 2004, to visit the national parks and tiger reserves in India to study tiger habitat.

Cross- cultural programme is an attempt to exchange diverse views of Indian and foreign students on conservation efforts to save the forest and save the tiger.
