Ms. Anjana Gosain is a practicing advocate in Supreme Court and High Court with specialization in environmental law. She has authored compilation of cases under Wildlife Protection Act (1972) and ready reckoner for steps for successful prosecution of wildlife crminals. She is the main backbone in planning the modules which are largely designed on practical aspects of prosecution and emphasis on acts related to wildlife crimes. She has a standing of more than 31 yrs of practice.

Mr. Manjit Ahluwalia is a key resource person and has exclusive background of criminal trials particularly cases under Wildlife Protection Act (1972) in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate. He has been involved in active prosecution cases in Bandhavgarh and Kanha National Park and imparting training at Indira Gandhi Forest Academy, Dehradun. He is responsible for organizing mock courts, detailed court procedure for recording evidence to depose as a witness and also in teaching the ancillary acts. In these training programmes he takes care of training the prosecutors, forest witnesses and the villagers to get trained as complainants for the wildlife crimes.

Mr. Digvijay Rai has been associated with Tiger Trust since 2000. He was responsible for achieving conviction of the poachers of famous Sita Tigress. His main specialization is criminal law with main emphasis on procedures for preparation of complaint and evidence. He is responsible for preparation of modules for all the training programmes as per the requirement of the concerned forest department.

• Honorable Justice A.B.Saharaya (Retired), was a Chief Justice of the Punjab & Haryana High Court and is a presiding faculty of Tiger Trust. Justice Saharaya has a keen interest in issues related to wildlife and environmental conservation. His judgments supported conservation during his time on Honorable High Court of Delhi since 1986 and later as a Chief Justice of Punjab & Haryana High Court in 1998. Since he retired in 2002 he has been working with Tiger Trust as a patron and faculty.
• Honorable Justice Anil Verma, An additional District Judge is the sitting Special Judge in District Sagar, Madhya Pradesh. He presided over the criminal court which handled the wildlife crimes and he has given convictions in a number of cases. He was the presiding officer in the modules in two trainings. His interaction with the trainees of both states was very successful and well appreciated for sharing his judicial experience and pointing out the deficiencies in prosecution of wildlife cases.
• Dr. Prag Nigam, a Wildlife Scientist by profession and holds a Master’s Degree research on livestock diseases and their impact on animal health. He has served in the Remount & Veterinary Corps of the Indian Army in the Field Veterinary Hospital and Central Military Veterinary Laboratory, Meerut until 2002. Dr. Nigam has been providing training inputs in the area of wildlife health management; immobilization and restraint of wild animals; and health management of wild animals in captivity in various legal training programmes conducted by Tiger Trust. He has also successfully carried out a number of wildlife rescue and rehabilitation operations for various states of the country. His specialization lies in wild animal capture and restraint; disease dynamics and management; health management of captive populations.
